Love swallows me whole

Living ever more vividly
surrounded by my loved ones
who have already transcended,
I savor a love that surpasses
all tribulations big and small
of life on earth.

Even those gaping wounds from the past
are healing and dissolve
in the warm glow of this love.
I release my clinging and see
these are just ripples in the pond.

When I dive into the waters of life
I swim with the fishes and I am free.
No more up or down
the good and bad dissolve
like mirages
in the ocean of love
one with all
nothing left to defend.

My little heart opens in innocence.
Without walls of protection
there is nowhere to strike.
